Karen Khachanov reaches Masters final for second time in his career

The semifinal matches of the Toronto Masters have concluded.

One of the semifinalists was Russian tennis player of Armenian origin, world No. 16 Karen Khachanov, seeded No. 11.

In a gripping three-hour battle, Khachanov defeated world No. 3 Alexander Zverev 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(4), securing a spot in the final of the Masters series tournament for the second time in his career.

At the end of the tournament, Khachanov is set to rise to No. 12 in the world rankings.
