Kasakh residents attempt once again to block the Yerevan-Ashtarak highway

Residents of Kasakh village in Armenia’s Kotayk region are again attempting to block the Yerevan-Ashtarak highway, as the community’s transportation issue remains unresolved.

The protesters demand the restoration of bus route No. 59. Numerous police forces have been deployed in the area, preventing villagers from blocking the highway.

Earlier, the police detained some citizens, including minors and elderly people, using unlawful force.
