Kazakhstan proposes harmonizing cybersecurity laws in CSTO countries

Digital technologies are developing, so the CSTO countries need to develop unified legal approaches, said Yerlan Koshanov, Chairman of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, during a meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council.

According to Koshanov, modern challenges associated with the development of digital technologies and the rise of cyber threats require states to develop common legal approaches and effective mechanisms to combat cybercrime.
