Le Figaro deputy director calls disgraceful Azerbaijan’s election to UNESCO high post

Jean-Christophe Buisson, the deputy director of the French Le Figaro, commented on the appointment of Azerbaijan as vice-president at the 42nd General Conference of UNESCO.

“UNESCO did not consider it appropriate to condemn the 9-month Azerbaijan’s blockade (of Artsakh – ed.), during which the educational process of thousands of Armenian children was disrupted. But now it elects Azerbaijan to the vice-presidency of its General Conference. Disgrace!” Buisson said in a post on X.
