France will deliver a batch of defensive weapons to Armenia on February 22, Le Figaro reports.

The weapons include three Thalès Ground Master (GM 200) radars, which have a range of 250 kilometers, as well as night vision devices and other equipment.

As Le Figaro reports, this year the French military will conduct mountain combat training for Armenian troops as part of the defense cooperation agreement.

The defense cooperation agreement between Armenia and France was signed on October 23, 2023, during Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan’s visit to France.

Earlier, it was reported that French Minister of Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu is expected to arrive in Armenia soon.
