Mamikon Aslanyan charged again

Mamikon Aslanyan, former Mayor of Vanadzor, has been charged again. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

It should be noted that the process of handing out parliamentary mandates is currently underway.

Aslanyan had previously spent 2 years and 7 months under arrest. He was convicted of fraud and abuse of official authority in connection with the privatization of land plots in Vanadzor. The former official was released in July 2024.
