Michael Goorjian’s Amerikatsi to be screened in Belarus

Michael Goorjian’s Amerikatsi will be screened in Belarus on March 27.
The movie received positive reviews and won prizes at the Woodstock Film Festival and the Hamburg Film Festival. It was also shortlisted for the 96th Academy Awards.

Amerikatsi is Goorjian’s third full-length movie after Illusion and The Shift.

Amerikatsi follows the story of Charlie, who repatriates back to Armenia, decades after he miraculously escaped the Armenian genocide by fleeing to the United States.
