Mikael Khachatryan gives up Yerevan Council of Elders mandate to take up parliamentary seat

Mikael Khachatryan, a member of the “Civil Contract” faction in the Yerevan Council of Elders, announced that he is stepping down from his position in order to take up a parliamentary mandate.

“Due to the incompatibility of positions, I am ending my activity in the Yerevan Council of Elders in order to continue working as a Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia,” he wrote on social media.
