Minsk and Yerevan are united not only by shared pages of history, but also by genuine sympathy between people: Lukashenko

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally, congratulated the people of Armenia on their national holiday — Independence Day.

“This significant event, the 35th anniversary of gaining sovereignty, symbolizes the Armenians’ aspiration for free and independent development, and the preservation of their rich culture,” the congratulatory message reads.

Lukashenko noted that today, as the world faces serious challenges, time-tested friendly ties become especially valuable.

“Minsk and Yerevan are united not only by shared pages of history, but also by genuine sympathy between people, which serves as a solid foundation for open and constructive partnership,” he emphasized.

Lukashenko wished the people of Armenia stability and confidence in the future. “May harmony and joy reign in every home,” the Belarusian leader added.
