Henrikh Mkhitaryan, former captain of the Armenian national football team, will continue playing for Milan’s Inter. The Armenian midfielder will sign a new one-year contract with the club, according to Fabrizio Romano.
According to insiders, an agreement between the parties was reached about two weeks ago. The new deal will cover one season and includes a reduction in the player’s salary.
An interesting detail about the negotiations was revealed by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio. According to him, Mkhitaryan personally handles all matters related to his contract, without an agent. “Mkhitaryan negotiates personally, without an agent. He is on another level,” Ausilio said in an interview with Supernova.
