Moscow ready to support signing of peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan – Lavrov

Russia sincerely wishes success to Armenia and Azerbaijan in concluding a peace agreement and is ready to continue providing all possible assistance to the parties in the development and signing of such a document, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a high-level conference on the historic South Russian lands.

“It is necessary to sign a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, we sincerely wish them success in this. It is clear that the agreement was made possible thanks to several trilateral summits involving Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. We are ready to continue providing assistance if both sides are interested in it,” he noted.
