“Mother Armenia” movement to hold discussion outside courthouse

On July 21 at 3:00 p.m., a hearing on the extension of Andranik Tevanyan’s detention will take place at the Yerevan City Court of First Instance. The “Mother Armenia” movement will organize a discussion on the issue of political prisoners outside the courthouse.

The movement’s statement notes that Armenia’s constitutional order has effectively been destroyed, and that fundamental freedoms are being violated by the authorities on a daily basis.
