NA Speaker positive about buying gas from Baku

Yerevan is ready to discuss the gas purchase with Baku, NA Speaker Alen Simonyan told reporters.

“I am very positive about this. I believe we should discuss this matter,” he said.

According to Simonyan, part of the gas used by Armenia is from Azerbaijan.

“I am sure that even now, part of the gas we purchase from Russia is from Azerbaijan,” the NA Speaker said.

He considers it a very good option to build a gas pipeline and purchase gas not only from Azerbaijan but also from Iran.
