National Mobilization Council of the Diaspora members discuss upcoming strategic steps

An online meeting of the National Mobilization Council of the Diaspora was held, after which the Coordinating Body issued a statement.

“On July 18, 2026, at the initiative of the Coordinating Body of the National Mobilization Council of the Diaspora, an online meeting was held, following the conference held on April 11-12, 2026, in Paris. Representatives from Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora from 25 countries took part in the meeting.

The meeting took place at a time when the Armenian people continue to face the consequences of forced displacement from Artsakh, the need to protect the collective rights of Artsakh Armenians, to advance the Armenian Cause on the international stage, to preserve national and spiritual values, and to strengthen the role of the Diaspora. At the same time, the democratic backsliding observed in Armenia makes the need for nationwide consolidation and activity even more evident.

The meeting provided an occasion to reassess the outcomes of the Paris Conference, to present the work carried out over the past three months, and to discuss further steps. The Coordinating Body presented the work done: organizing meetings among the participants of four round tables, preparing reports and summaries, and disseminating coverage in the media, social networks and community circles.

During the meeting, a final video about the conference was shown, once again underscoring its significance and opening up new positive prospects. Final summaries of the round tables were presented, covering the Diaspora’s strategic role, the preservation of national identity and values, the development of Armenia-Diaspora relations, and the strengthening of mobilization around nationwide goals.

Particular attention was given to presenting the website dedicated to the Conference, where a full archive of materials will be posted, reports, video recordings, photographs, the declaration, articles, interviews and other materials, ensuring the long-term preservation and public accessibility of the work carried out.

The final part of the meeting was devoted to future directions. Participants confirmed that the principles and priorities formulated in Paris remain key elements of the nationwide agenda, and stressed the need for unified, organized and continuous work in the interests of Armenia, Artsakh and all of Armenians worldwide.

The online meeting once again confirmed that the Paris Conference was not a one-time event but the beginning of a process of consolidating the Diaspora’s forces, aimed at uniting its potential and serving the implementation of strategic nationwide objectives.”
