Natural Population Growth in Artsakh Increased by 18.8%

According to data for 7 months of this year, the natural population growth in Artsakh exceeded last year’s figure by 18.8%, the National Statistical Service of the Republic reports. It should be noted that the natural population growth exceeded the figure of the previous year, despite the fact that the number of births for 7 months of 2023 decreased by 7.9% year-over-year, and the number of deaths was down by 23.6%. The marriage rate during this period decreased by about 25%, and the number of divorces – by 9.1%.
