Nikol Pashinyan has embraced banner of unilateral concessions and is moving forward — Avetik Kerobyan
Not only are the shootings concerning, but so is the lack of response from the Armenian authorities and Armed Forces, Former Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee Avetik Kerobyan said in an interview with Alpha News, referring to recent Azerbaijani gunfire directed at Khoznavar.
“What does the Chief of the General Staff say? ‘We hear the shots, we don’t care.’ This is a syndrome of renouncing the military oath. In this case, this is the most worrying thing. We cannot talk about peace when the arch-enemy does not hide its expansionist ambitions, we cannot live like this, humiliate our own people, and encourage emigration with our own inaction,” Kerobyan said.
According to him, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan “has embraced the banner of unilateral concessions and is moving forward.”
“Of course, there will be no peace, because our enemy does not want peace. Armenia does not exist in their state documents, in their state strategy. In their view, the Armenian people do not have the right to live on the territory of Armenia. To believe that peace can be achieved under such concessions is simply naive and foolish,” added the former chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee.
