There have been no casualties reported among the Armenian community in Israel, Hakob Sevan, a member of the Jerusalem Committee of Hay Dat, told NEWS. am.
“No damage to the property belonging to the Armenian community or new attacks on the Armenian church have been reported either,” he said.
A few days earlier, it was reported that a group of Jewish extremists carried out a provocation at the entrance to an Armenian convent in Jerusalem. Two Armenians confronted the extremists who were armed with knives. The incident resulted in casualties.
“Despite the fact that they are trying to launch strikes on Jerusalem from the Gaza Strip, the situation in the city is still peaceful. The Iron Dome air defense system does its job by destroying missiles. We all share the concern about what is happening and hope for an early end to the military situation,” Sevan added.
