No items of illegal origin were found: Levon Kocharyan’s lawyer

No items of illegal origin were found during the search, Erik Aleksanyan, lawyer for Levon Kocharyan, member of the “Armenia” faction, told journalists.

“They were searching for documents and electronic media that might contain information relevant to the case. Due to the confidentiality of the preliminary investigation, I cannot disclose all the factual circumstances, but the case involves alleged abuse of official position, money laundering, and illegal entrepreneurship,” the lawyer noted.

According to the lawyer, the search was conducted in violation of the MP’s parliamentary immunity.
