Armenia has repeatedly confirmed its commitment to continuing mutually beneficial cooperation within the EAEU. This was stated by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia (RA), in a speech at the expanded-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, in which he took part by videoconference.
“We have repeatedly confirmed Armenia’s commitment to continuing mutually beneficial cooperation within the EAEU, aimed at strengthening economic stability and ensuring the sustainable development of the broader region,” he said.
Pashinyan also stressed the importance of integrating Armenia into the international railway network and noted that he had discussed the issue of unblocking regional communications with colleagues.
“During the restricted-format meeting, I informed my colleagues about some nuances concerning the process of unblocking regional transport communications, which is taking place as a result of the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We hope for certain decisions that, in particular, will lead to greater efficiency of Armenia’s railways,” he said.
