Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, stated that Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, is pursuing an unfriendly policy toward Russia while cynically exploiting the opportunities provided by Russia.

“In the opinion of State Duma deputies, Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan is pursuing an unfriendly policy toward the Russian Federation, cynically making use of the opportunities our country provides,” he said.

“His desire to remain in the EAEU is an attempt to continue using the Eurasian space for financial gain, something that has already allowed Armenia to increase its GDP by 2.5 times,” he added.

According to Volodin, this is dishonorable. “All of this, as I have said before, we have already seen in the case of Ukraine. Nothing good will come of it,” he said.
