Pashinyan says he welcomes the US-Iran peace agreement

Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, stated on social media platform X that he welcomes the peace agreement between the US and Iran.

“We welcome the agreement between the United States and Iran. We highly appreciate the mediation efforts of Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey and other countries,” he noted.

Pashinyan added that he hopes this landmark event will pave the way for a comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East.

The peace negotiations between the US and Iran concluded on June 14, with the agreement set to be signed in Switzerland on June 19.
