Pashinyan stated that he would be pleased if the CSTO expelled Armenia from the organization

Nikol Pashinyan, RA Prime Minister, stated in parliament that he would be pleased if the CSTO expelled Armenia from the organization. According to him, Armenia does not plan to return to the CSTO in the next 5 years.

“I will be very pleased if the organization expels Armenia. In any case, this will free us from the dilemma of whether to leave or not to leave,” he said.

It should be noted that Armenia suspended its participation in the CSTO in 2024. The organization includes Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
