Pashinyan’s role in Armenian history is similar to Zelensky’s role in Ukrainian – Yevgeny Satanovsky

Speaking with Alpha News, Russian political scientist Yevgeny Satanovsky commented on the reports that US President Donald Trump had signed a memorandum restoring maximum pressure on Iran.
“Trump acts the way the president of the United States should act, he does not play, he does not cheat, he is an honest man, he is a Republican. The Democrats are strangling you in their arms and basely breaking your ribs, biting you in the back with venom like a snake. And Republicans honestly hit the teeth. Trump is a classic American Republican president. And we’ll see what will come of it,” Satanovsky said.
According to the expert, Pashinyan’s role in Armenian history is similar to Zelensky’s role in Ukrainian history.
“Speaking of Armenia, I don’t really understand why we need to worry about a country led by a man whose role in Armenian history is very similar to Zelensky’s role in Ukrainian history. Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan all refer to the issue that Transcaucasia is currently the subject of a struggle between Iran, Turkey, and the West. Russia was there until recently thanks to the efforts of all the Russian tsars, but it stopped. We are still technically out there somewhere, well, just in case. We have lost Transcaucasia, and this is a fact. Whether there will be anything reminiscent of the old days of the Russian Empire or the Soviet Union in the foreseeable future is a big question.
The reluctance of politicians, diplomats, political scientists, and journalists to see this simple thing can be assessed any way you like. I personally assess this with sorrow,” Satanovsky concluded.
