Penguin Workshop to publish graphic novel by Robert Apelian

Penguin Workshop will release Fustuk, the debut graphic novel by Robert Apelian, in January 2026.

Fustuk is a fantastical story that immerses readers in the world of an Armenian family and its culinary traditions.

Robert Mgrdich Apelian is an American author and illustrator of Armenian descent. Through comics, he conveys the cultural richness of his ancestral homeland. He signed the publishing contract for Fustuk in 2021.
