Prosecutor General to request lifting of MP Artur Sargsyan’s immunity

The Armenian Prosecutor General will apply to the National Assembly to deprive Armenia faction MP Artur Sargsyan of parliamentary immunity, said Parliament President Alen Simonyan.

He noted that the corresponding statement from the Prosecutor General has not been received yet. Simonyan did not give any other details. According to him, the process is expected to begin soon.
