Prosperous Armenia reports attack on its supporters in Yerevan

The Prosperous Armenia party has reported an attack on its supporters during election campaigning in Yerevan, resulting in casualties.

Iveta Tonoyan, press secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), reported on social media that the party is looking into the circumstances of the incident. She published a video previously shared by Sona Aghekyan, a parliamentary candidate from the party.

The statement notes that the party is demanding a prompt investigation from law enforcement agencies.

“This is an alarming precedent, demonstrating what political intolerance and hostility toward opponents can lead to,” Tonoyan stressed.
