The issue of Artsakh and the right of Artsakh’s residents to return to their homeland has not been closed. This was stated by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, deputy of the “Armenia” faction, in a conversation with journalists at the Yerablur military pantheon.
“It is not for Nikol Pashinyan to decide whether Artsakh is Armenian or not. He, of course, continues to serve the policy pursued by Turkey and Azerbaijan, and their interests in Armenia. I will continue to insist that the right of Artsakh’s people to collective return is not up for discussion,” the deputy noted.
Answering a question about keeping the issue of Artsakh’s Armenians on the agenda of international platforms, Saghatelyan noted that the ARF is raising this issue by every possible means, as clearly demonstrated by recent major conferences in Paris and resolutions adopted by the parliaments of various countries.
Nevertheless, he said, promoting the issue is extremely difficult due to the position of official Yerevan.
