Ruben Rubinyan elected speaker of the National Assembly: 63 MPs vote “for,” 28 vote “against”

Ruben Rubinyan has been elected speaker of the National Assembly. The Civil Contract party voted unanimously in favor of the decision. 63 MPs voted for Rubinyan, while 28 voted against.

Earlier, the opposition Armenia faction announced that it would not participate in the vote, while the Strong Armenia faction stated that it would vote against.
