Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State, has vowed to “dismantle” the International Criminal Court, which issued arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, CNN reports.

Rubio said the ICC is waging a war against the US “not with bullets or missiles,” but with “the force of so-called international law.”

“Using every tool available to our government, and working with every ally we can align with, we will dismantle the ICC brick by brick if we have to. Countries that refuse to reject the ICC’s false authority, while still relying on US assistance, are likely to face heightened scrutiny,” he said.
