Armenia has not made any official statement on the intention to cut ties with Russia, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told the Izvestia newspaper, commenting on Pashinyan’s decision to “freeze” participation in the CSTO.

“Armenia is our ally in the CSTO. Yerevan is actively involved in the work of the Eurasian Economic Union and benefits a lot from the membership,” he said.

When asked about the possibility of cutting Russian-Armenian relations, Overchuk noted that “there were no official statements on this matter”.
