Russia is not aware of any decisions on withdrawal of border guards from Zvartnots airport

Russia is not aware of any decisions regarding the withdrawal of Russian border guards from Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. He added that the work is going on in all directions.

“There have been no decisions on this matter, as far as we understand. No one has conveyed these decisions to us through official channels. We are working in all directions within the framework of both CIS and EAEU structures and at the level of bilateral relations,” he said.

Peskov noted that Russia and Armenia are now implementing “a number of important projects”.

“We will further implement them,” he said.
