Russia MFA: Russia is in contact with Azerbaijan regarding Baku’s operation in Karabakh

Russia is in contact with Azerbaijan in light of Baku’s “anti-terrorist operation” in Karabakh, said Russian MFA spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

Zakharova stated that the Russian Foreign Ministry would publish a statement following discussions with the Azerbaijani side on the situation in Karabakh.

To remind, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have been intensively shelling Stepanakert and other populated areas from various types of weapons for more than an hour.
