Russian peacekeepers evacuate 2,261 civilians, including 1,049 children

Russian peacekeeping forces continue to evacuate the civilian population of Nagorno-Karabakh from the most dangerous areas and provide medical assistance to the victims, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.

“In total, more than 2 thousand civilians were evacuated, including 1,049 children. All evacuated residents are provided with places for temporary accommodation and hot meals. In addition, doctors of the medical detachment provide assistance to injured residents,” the statement says.
