Russia’s position on the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia was set out by President Vladimir Putin and has not changed, Maria Zakharova, official spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in an interview with RIA Novosti at the SPIEF.
“As for the parliamentary elections due to take place in Armenia on June 7, literally just days away, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at his meeting with Nikol Pashinyan (prime minister of Armenia – ed.) set out our position… and that position has not changed in any way,” Zakharova told the agency.
