Samvel Chivchyan crowned Russian champion in veteran masters sambo

The Russian Sambo Championship for veteran masters, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, concluded in Oryol, Russia, on May 18.

Samvel Chivchyan won all three of his matches during the tournament, securing the title of Russian champion.

Over 350 sambists from various regions across Russia took part in the competition.
