The second citizenship of all those members of the Civil Contract Party is Turkic countries, community activist Sarkis Zelveyan told Alpha News.

“When it was announced that Bagrat Srbazan was being considered as the Prime Minister nominee, the members of the Civil Contract Party started attacking Srbazan, pointing out that he is a dual citizen and has no right to be nominated. But we should keep in mind that Srbazan’s dual citizenship is ex officio dual citizenship.

At the same time, we got interesting information about the dual citizenship of some members of the Civil Contract Party. After a deep study, one thing became clear: their second citizenship is Turkic countries that have a visa-free regime,” Zelveyan said.

He assures that he has information about nine members of the Civil Contract Party with dual citizenship, and if he were not sure of the reliability of the information, he would not have made it public.

“I published the name of Hakob Arshakyan, but Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Hakobyan, Alen Simonyan, Lusine Badalyan, Hovik Aghazaryan, Lilit Minasyan, and others are also among them. We did not expect any confirmation or denial from them, because these papers record the facts.

I would like to ask the relevant bodies of Armenia to deal with this issue. NSS and Civil Contract can verify, deny, or confirm. We have a list of nine people, and I assure you, if I was not sure about this information, I definitely would not have made it public,” Zelveyan concluded.
