Session to elect Gyumri’s mayor scheduled for today

A session is set to take place in Gyumri today to elect the city’s mayor. The opposition candidate is Vardan Ghukasyan, the former mayor of Gyumri.

Currently, only opposition MPs are present in the hall, there are still no representatives of the Civil Contract faction.

As the oldest member, Vardan Ghukasyan will preside over the session.
