Public accountability requires self-control and strong nerves. This was stated in the National Assembly by Aram Vardevanyan, candidate for the post of deputy speaker of parliament, commenting on remarks made about him during the discussions.

According to the politician, his professional work over many years has been guided by the principle of defending human rights and unwavering resolve.

“Since 2011, when I started working in the Ombudsman’s office, a guiding thread has run through my conduct, the fight for human rights and the principle of never giving up, under any circumstances. Setbacks haven’t broken or discouraged me, on the contrary, I’ve taken two steps forward,” Aram Vardevanyan noted.
