Shooting in Vanadzor: contract serviceman of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense admits to firing shots

A contract serviceman of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has admitted to firing a handgun in Vanadzor, claiming he was preparing for an upcoming certification. This was reported by the crime news website Shamshyan. com.

The incident took place on the afternoon of June 28 on Alaverdyan Street. The man was identified as 35-year-old Frunzik S., a resident of the region, who voluntarily surrendered his weapon.

The serviceman said the handgun belonged to him and that he had decided to practice, firing several shots into the ground.

A criminal case has been initiated.
