Struggle will not stop for a second until justice is restored: Prosperous Armenia

The Prosperous Armenia party, despite all the injustices and repression carried out against it, will continue to play its role in Armenia’s public and political life, the party said in a statement.

“The problems that concern the people and the challenges facing the state will remain on our agenda, and staying true to our program, we will keep proposing our approaches and our solutions and presenting them to our society.

We remain faithful to our voters and to the promises made to society. Our guiding principle is the formulation given several months ago by Gagik Tsarukyan, Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia party, that ‘this program is not for one month or for a single election.’

We also attach great importance to our work with our international partners and are committed to defending the interests of Armenia and the Armenian people at every international venue. Cooperation with various political and public associations within the country is important to us, for the good of our state. We want to underscore the key formulation of our party’s leader: at this historically difficult stage for Armenia, internal solidarity is the most important factor.

And solidarity has, unfortunately, been broken, one proof of which is the unlawful deprivation of freedom of our leader, Gagik Tsarukyan. His release and the defense of his good name are among the key demands of our struggle. This struggle will not stop for a second until justice is restored. Gagik Tsarukyan’s high personal approval rating, broad public support, and the dignified stance he has shown in difficult situations give all of us great confidence and resilience.
