Supporters of Gagik Tsarukyan hand letter to Iran’s ambassador to Armenia

Supporters of Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP), handed a letter to Iran’s ambassador to Armenia, said Iveta Tonoyan, the party’s press secretary.

“It is unacceptable to us that the centuries-old friendly relations between Armenia and Iran are under threat because of two Iranian citizens – fraudsters and liars.

Gagik Tsarukyan has always advocated for strengthening Armenian-Iranian economic, cultural, trade and political ties, and has done everything possible to develop and strengthen these ties between the two countries. And today, because of the false testimony of two fraudsters, Armenian-Iranian friendship is effectively under threat,” she said.
