What happened the day before was completely absurd, all red lines were crossed, Tatev Virabyan, an activist affected by clashes, told Alpha News.

“There was a terrible situation on Baghramyan Avenue the day before. I was shooting video there, and I did not notice how the flash grenade appeared under my feet and exploded, seriously injuring my leg. What happened was completely absurd, all red lines were crossed. We were expecting that the police officers would take some action. It is just sad that the police violate public order but put the blame on the people. I have even been in the war, and those scenes were understandable to me, but what happened the day before has no explanation.

How can an Armenian man throw a bomb at a woman? Around me, there were crying women and people with shrapnel wounds, but our authorities will not rest until they see blood,” Tatev Virabyan said.

The activist is sure that a day will come when the Armenian nation will see Armenia without Nikol.

“I understand that they are trying to break us in this way. They understood that they could not break us by putting us in prison and silencing us, so they decided to shed blood. The current authorities are trying to instill an atmosphere of fear, but they do not understand that they will not achieve anything. If I could walk, I would have been on Baghramyan Avenue and participated in all the protests.

I even agree to sacrifice my life if it means we will have a homeland. This is my position, and we will have Armenia without Nikol. We want to live in our homeland, to live peacefully, but we are punished for wanting this. Alright, I will take this punishment, but my descendants will have a homeland,” Virabyan concluded.
