The announcement on subsidizing prices for the remaining harvest is part of Pashinyan’s pre-election promises: Alen Gevondyan

The EAEU is a separate market with its own tariffs, rules, and regulations, and in the event of withdrawal from it, all agreements with Armenia will be annulled. Political analyst Alen Gevondyan made this statement live on Alpha News.
“From the perspective of the EAEU countries, the picture is as follows: during the European summit, leaders of various states arrived in Armenia, 99% of whom are in hostile relations with Russia. Armenia has strategic and allied relations specifically with Russia, whereas it has no comparable format of relations with any other country. Among the EAEU countries, it is Armenia that has benefited the most, a common market, foreign trade, and so on. These are concrete, tangible advantages tied to the labor of farmers and workers. All of this will be shut off. This is not a sanction, simply a fact: the EAEU is a separate market with its own tariffs, rules, and regulations. If you leave it and move to a different market, all agreements connected to our country will be annulled,” the political analyst said.
According to Gevondyan, a rift has formed in Armenian-Russian relations that continues to deepen.
“The longer this situation drags on, the greater the damage to our people’s budget, or the higher the country’s external debt will grow. Everyone knows who Nikol Pashinyan is, what he has been involved in, and what contacts he has had with certain services of various countries. He is not capable of solving problems. And the announcement that, due to restrictions from Russia, prices on the remaining harvest will be subsidized by the state is yet another link in the chain of his propaganda promises. As a result of his ineffective, illogical, and utterly foolish steps, serious financial problems will arise for everyone,” Gevondyan added.
