Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of parliament from the “Armenia” bloc, commented on the hysterical outbursts of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as a video that was published showing four masked individuals threatening Pashinyan in the Artsakh dialect.

“Since early morning, Pashinyan has been referring to some video, which he undoubtedly prepared himself. The video allegedly shows a group of masked Artsakh natives threatening to eliminate Pashinyan or take revenge on him. Armed with this video, he has been going around making threats left and right, accusing the opposition of involvement in these actions or of having ordered them.

Dear people, nothing has changed about this man, it is the same handwriting, one that has long been familiar. This man did the same thing after the war both during the ‘Resistance Movement’ and during the ‘Holy Struggle.’ That is, at every convenient opportunity, he stages what are allegedly acts of terrorism, assassination attempts against himself with one sole purpose: first to instill fear in people, and thereby justify his unlawful actions against the opposition, the violence and arrests, as well as the undermining of the country’s constitutional order as a whole,” Saghatelyan noted.

Addressing Pashinyan, he said: “Our people need you alive and well. We will do everything possible to ensure your safety, because our people need you alive. You still have to answer in court for why you surrendered Artsakh, why you caused the deaths of around 5,000 people, and who your accomplices are. To explain why you committed this act of betrayal against our people and our state.”
