Over the past five years, the work of the European Integration Committee has been effectively paralyzed, with sessions held only once or twice a year, if at all. This was stated by Narek Karapetyan, MP from the Strong Armenia bloc, in comments to journalists.
According to him, there are plans to revitalize the body’s activities in the near future and to show the public that the goal is genuine diversification. This involves increasing trade turnover with Europe and introducing European institutions.
“We will work in such a way that people see that claims about developing relations with only one side are untrue,” Karapetyan stressed.
