“The elections were falsified, it’s obvious”: residents of Abovyan

The parliamentary elections held on June 7 in Armenia were falsified, and this is obvious to everyone. This opinion was expressed by one resident of the city of Abovyan during a poll, responding to questions about the electoral process.

“As soon as the ballots were opened at 2-3 polling stations, it immediately became clear. They say there were technical errors, but in that case, who is responsible for these technical errors?” he noted.

According to another poll participant, the authorities achieved such results only through an unprecedented use of administrative resources and suppression of opponents.

“The elections were held with numerous violations, using administrative resources, imprisoning and intimidating politicians. There are numerous documented facts about these violations in the Constitutional Court and the media,” the Abovyan resident added.
