The European Commission and the European Investment Bank have signed a memorandum of support for Armenia in preparing road projects leading to future border crossing points on the Armenian-Turkish border.
“The initiative provides for preparatory work on the strategic Akhurik–Kayan and Margara–Kayan routes, which will connect the new crossing points to the country’s road network,” said Davit Khudatyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
In the first phase, the European Investment Bank will provide advisory support, including studies and the development of technical solutions.
