The film about Sergei Parajanov will be shown at the Venice Film Festival

The film directed by Zara Jan “I will take revenge on the world with love. Parajanov” will be shown at the Venice Film Festival, which starts in August, according to the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia.

In the film, the director, who has been living abroad for many years, returns to Armenia and immediately goes from the airport to the Sergei Parajanov Museum.

In the film, which contains both a game and a documentary part, you can meet world–famous cultural figures – Atom Egoyan, Emir Kusturica, Artavazd Peleshyan and others who talk about the uniqueness of Parajanov’s art and recall their acquaintance with him. An important part of the film is also episodes from Sergei Parajanov’s interview, which reveal the director in a new way.
