The Holy Forty Martyrs Armenian Church in Turkiye is seriously damaged

The Armenian Church of the Holy Forty Martyrs built in 1872 in Iskenderun, Turkiye, is seriously damaged due to the earthquake of February 6, 2023. The church needs renovation; that is why, no ceremonies are currently held there.

The Church Primate Yusuf Tabash appealed to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye, requesting the renovation of the church. It is reported that 16 more Armenian churches have been affected by the earthquake.
