A man who has no higher education, and whose highest educational document is a certificate of graduation from Ijevan School No. 1, is talking about higher education.

This was stated in the National Assembly by Edgar Ghazaryan, deputy from the “Strong Armenia” faction, referring to Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia.

“He says all universities should be depoliticized, that no party figure should have the right to be rector of any university, and that all universities should move to 100 percent self-governance,” Ghazaryan noted.

Speaking about the “Academic Town” project, the deputy stressed that it will never be brought to life.
“And the reality is that the most beautiful and enlightened academic town, Stepanakert, no longer exists,” Ghazaryan said.
